Solely Electrical

Solely Electrical is a name that recurs in accounts of electrical work around Launceston, and the praise centres on the proprietor, Jamie. Customers regularly describe him as knowledgeable and thorough, taking the time to view a property's electrical components as a whole and to discuss options, including future upgrades should the owner choose to proceed. His communication stands out: reviewers mention that he answers calls, arrives when he says he will, and confirms decisions with the householder before proceeding, whether the task is installing a split system air conditioner or rewiring an entire home.

The quality of the finished result is a recurring theme, with customers noting careful placement of equipment, a strong emphasis on safety, and a compliance certificate supplied on completion. Quotes are described as reasonable and the workmanship as meticulous, and the same clients return for additional jobs around the house, from outdoor powerpoints to lighting and general electrical installations. Friendliness, patience and a readiness to share advice without hesitation come up often, as does an urgent call-out attended without any sense of haste. The consistent note is that Jamie double-checks everything before leaving.

We recently had Jamie from Solely Electrical come out for a last-minute call-out, and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Jamie was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything to us in detail, making sure we understood exactly what was happening and what needed to be done. His attention to detail was outstanding, and nothing felt rushed despite it being a last-minute job. It’s refreshing to find a tradesperson who genuinely cares about doing the job properly and keeping their customers informed. We highly recommend Jamie and Solely Electrical and will definitely be using him again in the future. Thank you!

I can highly recommend Solely Electrical. Had trouble with a hot water cylinder to which Jamie fit the repair job in that afternoon. He was very efficient and explained everything in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

Jamie was fantastic! We can not recommend him highly enough! He provided great advice and went above and beyond.

Had to recently rewire the entire house Jamie at Solely Electrical not only answered his phone when i called, unlike a lot of well known companies, he came out the very same day !! He was very prompt and professional. His quote was very reasonable and I would highly recommend Solely Electrical to anyone needing an electrician. Don't be put on a wait list with electricians that don't answer their phones and can't fit you in for days call Jamie, you won't be sorry.

Jamie is very reliable and professional. Highly recommended. We'll work with him again.
