Lister Electrics

Households and owners of older properties in Launceston feature heavily among the accounts left for Lister Electrics, with reviewers returning to the same handful of qualities. Promptness stands out, with several customers describing how quickly a request was answered and the fault dealt with once the electrician was on site. The standard of workmanship is raised repeatedly, particularly for a complicated rewire of an old house, where the outcome was described as excellent and the job was kept inside the figure the owners had in mind. Fair charging comes up often, with the fee for a repair called reasonable.

Beyond the technical result, reviewers mention the manner of the team, noting that extra fittings and unusual requests were handled without fuss, and that the staff were pleasant to have on site. Longevity matters too, one account covering decades of ongoing use of the business for electrical work. Communication and reliability run through the feedback, from the first call through to completion, and the same names come up for future jobs. For installation and fault work in older homes, the pattern of fast attendance, tidy execution and clear costing is what customers describe most.

I have used this company twice and had no issues with them. Their work was good, a bit overpriced. When I needed some more work done, nobody bothered to return my calls so they obviously don't need any more work. So I have given the job and all subsequent jobs to a different company who have better communication skills and don't mind returning phone calls. Very disappointed but it worked out well in the end as now we have reliable people that we can call on

They arrived within an hour of my call. Fixed the problem immediately, and charged a reasonable fee. Definitely the first electrician I ring next time.

I've been using these wonderful people for decades... Prompt, reliable, professional workmanship , a pleasure to deal with. Yes, of course I will continue to use them , and have no hesitation to recommend.

Highly recommended, prompt, efficient, mannerly and also tolerant of two horrible little dogs! Excellent work. Will choose Lister for any further work
