I had a new motor installed in my air-conditioner. Not 12 months later l had a serious leak with ceiling damage, which l was advised had been happening for some time. It would have been evident when the new motor was installed, but not reported to me. 2 companies have advised the unit it too old to repair, it should have been replaced before, not had another motor installed. 2 summers l have had weeks with no airconditioning & expensive bills that shouldn't have happened! It was indicated the company are not plumbers, l am not a plumber either, but can recognise a leak. Perhaps had they been plumbers, with profit to gain, they'd have suggested replacing the unit last year? Very unhappy.
