JB Electrical

Homeowners and businesses across Hobart have turned to this electrical team for projects ranging from new appliance installations to complex fault repairs in older properties. Across the feedback, a recurring theme is reliability: more than one customer describes the crew arriving when promised and completing work without fuss. Punctuality and organisation come up repeatedly, with reviewers noting that jobs are scheduled promptly even during busy periods.

The quality of the finished result is another consistent point of praise, whether the task involves fitting a dual fuel oven, replacing a switchboard in a strata unit, or tracing a difficult fault that had defeated others. Customers frequently highlight the clear advice offered before work begins, helping them make informed decisions about their power needs, and the fair, reasonable pricing is mentioned often. Communication stands out as a strength, both while arranging the job and after completion.

Named team members including Jamie, Dan, Ash and Hamish are singled out for their friendly, courteous manner and diligent approach, with reviewers describing them as approachable and respectful on site. Tidiness and a thorough approach also feature, alongside the speed with which emergencies are handled. The breadth of work covers appliance installation and repair, switchboard upgrades and general electrical maintenance.

We are a large national FM company and we have utilised JB Electrical for many jobs in Tasmania over the past few years. Jamie has always been extremely responsive to our clients, and their sometimes complex requests. His work has always been exemplary, completed on time and on budget and he is solution and customer focused which is very important in our industry. I highly recommend using JB Electrical.

Thank you for the fit out we are glad we choose you guys happy with your work . Thank you Jamie and the team .

I had a new motor installed in my air-conditioner. Not 12 months later l had a serious leak with ceiling damage, which l was advised had been happening for some time. It would have been evident when the new motor was installed, but not reported to me. 2 companies have advised the unit it too old to repair, it should have been replaced before, not had another motor installed. 2 summers l have had weeks with no airconditioning & expensive bills that shouldn't have happened! It was indicated the company are not plumbers, l am not a plumber either, but can recognise a leak. Perhaps had they been plumbers, with profit to gain, they'd have suggested replacing the unit last year? Very unhappy.

Quick & professional service with excellent communication. They fixed my Dyson hair wrap on spot and I couldn’t be happier with the result and the price. Highly recommend!!! 👍🏻

I used JB Electrical to install a new stove and fan in a two story strata title unit plus a new switch board. Both had not been updated 40 years. . I thoroughly recommend this business.electricians were very efficient and very pleasant to deal with and would not look elsewhere if I needed other electrical work. Bill Chesterman

I recently had a dual fuel oven installed in my older home, and the experience was outstanding, thanks to the fantastic teams at JB Electrical and True South Plumbing. Jamie and Dan from JB Electrical were a pleasure to deal with. Despite the holiday season rush, they managed to fit us into their busy schedule and arranged everything promptly and efficiently. A big shoutout to Tom Ryan and his team at True South Plumbing as well! Together, these teams delivered a top-notch installation, and we couldn't be happier with the result.
