Richardson's Electrical Service

Residential and commercial properties across Cairns feature in accounts of work by Richardson's Electrical Service, whose installation, lighting, security and solar tasks attract steady praise. Customers in several reviews describe jobs from substantial projects to minor repairs, noting tidy results even in older homes where neat cabling is difficult. Reliability and punctuality come up again and again, with tradespeople arriving when expected and finishing efficiently. A recurring theme is the professionalism of office staff, particularly Kirsty, alongside the competence of electricians such as Michael, credited with isolating and fixing a hot water system fault within fifteen minutes and leaving the area clean.

Clear communication before and after jobs, prompt responses and a willingness to tackle awkward tasks without fuss are also valued. Appliance work, including cooktop installation, and hot water repairs sit alongside general electrical servicing. Polite, well-mannered tradespeople who explain their work and clean up afterwards are highlighted, and long-term clients describe decades of consistent workmanship. Many reviewers note that problems are solved quickly and without drama, while the efficient handling of both planned work and unexpected faults stands out as a constant.

Good efficient work and on time

Very reliable and attentive service every time, jobs always completed to my satisfaction and promptly, will contact Richardson’s for any future electrical requirements…

Thanks to Ethan and Josh for doing such a good job on our under work bench lighting.

This is a very well run operation. Very prompt service; friendly staff, make every effort to minimise delays and solve problems, punctual and clean up after themselves! Highly recommend.

Contacted Kristy on Monday. Dan and Ethan here first thing Tuesday morning. Unlike the first electrician, boys throughly tested the 11 PowerPoints on the faulty circuit, jumped into the ceiling to check the wiring and back tracked a tricky electrical short to the internal pool light switch that was the causation of the intermittent short. Great service fellas ( and Kristy on great customer service ) 👍. Fixed first visit. Highly recommend Richardsons!

Young tradie arrived exactly on time, was very competent and helpful, did a great job.

Thank you Kirsty for your professionalism on the phone and thank you Michael. Richardson's are an amazing company. I called them out as something went wrong with my hot water system and Michael isolated the problem and had it fixed within 15 mins, left the area clean. What a wonderful experience dealing with Richardson's, highly recommend.
