Do Right Electrical

Do Right Electrical's standing in the region rests largely on Dirk, the tradesperson customers name most often. Reviewers describe complete rewires of older Queenslander properties, whole-house lighting replacements, switch renewals, air conditioning installations and hot water repairs, including one fault a previous electrician had been unwilling to trace. A point made in several accounts is his punctuality and thorough approach, with jobs finished to a proper standard inside the timeframe agreed before work began.

Customers also highlight his habit of talking through each stage, setting out choices and giving sensible guidance, such as adjusting a time clock so solar heating runs through the day. His manner comes across as approachable, straightforward and calm, and his handling of an overnight loss of power is noted for how quickly supply was restored once the cause was located. Charges are described as fair, workmanship as immaculate, and communication as strong from first contact to completion. Repeat business covers upgrades and a planned extension, while appliance repairs and emergency attendance also feature, with several clients saying they found him through a neighbour or a local community group.

Dirk had no problem coming to do two small replacment light fitting jobs, and was really flexible on timing and I'm giving him double thumbs up. Would use him again in a second (but hoping nothing else breaks soon :-) )

I posted on Facebook seeking help for an emergency power issue I had in the early hours of the morning and was impressed by the fast response from Dirk at Do Right Electrical. He quickly identified the source of the problem and had it resolved even faster, restoring our power in no time. Dirk was professional, friendly, honest, and clearly knowledgeable. In a stressful situation, his prompt service and expertise were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Do Right Electrical for any of your electrical needs.

Dirk from Do Right Electrical has come to sort out our electrical work and upgrades for us on several occasions now. Dirk took the time to explain things to us, gave us options and suggestions when needed and has always been so prompt and professional, a very down to earth and friendly tradie. Some of the jobs Dirk has completed for us: - Checked and replaced light switches - Fit out the house with all new lighting - Great communication with other tradies to gain access during patio build, to co-ordinate lighting and fans install. - Installed Pendant lights - Installed outdoor fans - Installed new porch light - Installed extra power points around home. Highly recommend Do Right Electrical :)

Dirk was incredibly helpful with a hot water issue I was having. Even just over the phone, he gave clear, practical, and highly technical advice that immediately inspired confidence. You can tell he really knows his trade and communicates exceptionally well. Rare to find someone both this skilled and this willing to help. Very impressed — would absolutely recommend.

Excellent service from start to finish. If you want someone honest, reliable and who has pride in their work, Dirk’s your man. I had full loss of power in my house and he came promptly and quickly found the issue and fixed it. Also found out why my hot water service had been going off when I’d had another electrician just say ‘call the manufacturer’. Will definitely use Do Right again and highly recommend.

Dirk is punctual and thorough which gives me peace of mind that the jobs been completed properly. I can count on him to get it done.

Really impressed with the service. The electrician fixed the circuit issue efficiently and explained everything clearly. He also gave practical, professional advice. On top of that, the price was very reasonable. Would happily use his service again.
