Cornell Electrical Pty Ltd

Cornell Electrical is credited by reviewers across Adelaide with a wide range of electrical work, from switchboard and RCD upgrades to solar arrays paired with battery and inverter systems, heat pumps, ceiling fans, smoke detectors and cooking appliances. Jamie and Jack appear often in accounts, praised for advice delivered in plain language and for patience when guiding customers through decisions, including steering one away from an expensive mistake. Punctuality and communication stand out, with progress explained at each stage and urgent jobs fitted in, such as a same-day 15 amp outlet installation described as flawless.

Tidiness recurs too, with work areas left clean and cabling routed through existing walls without extra holes in a townhouse. Fair and transparent pricing is a point that comes up often, quotes being adjusted when parts of the scope proved unnecessary. Reviews regularly refer to friendly staff and careful handling of awkward features like raked ceilings, together with meticulous workmanship that left homes feeling safer. The ability to cover both electrical and plumbing aspects of a project is also noted, simplifying coordination for customers.

They installed a heat pump, new switch board with RCD’s, and an electric stovetop/oven. They cover both elec and the plumbing, were very efficient, gave clear good advice, have good prices, and were a pleasure to deal with.

Apsolutely amazing, the guys did a fantastic job, I'll be definitely coming back for any future work I might need. They installed the new breaker to connect the new induction oven. Importantly, they pulled the new cable through the wall without drilling any new holes, which was espeically hard in a townhouse. They cleaned afterwards, and even went to buy the same brand of wall outlet so it matches the existing ones.

Very professional throughout. The telephone operators were very pleasant and helpful. Especially if any adjustments to the appointment were needed. The electricians themselves were flawless, very efficient and knowledgeable (including easy installation of a RING camera). Very happy to have a repeat service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing any electrical work done.

We were extemely happy with the installation of our induction cooker. Cornell were professional and always available to answer our questions. In particular, Lachlan in admin was incredibly helpful. It was his customer service that made us feel confident in selecting Cornell as our installer.

Arrived on time and kept me informed throughout the job and offered advice and suggestions with any variations. Nothing was too much trouble and they left the house as clean as it was when they left. Overall, a very professional team from quote to finish - WELL DONE!

It was an amazing experience dealing with Cornell electrical from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, every effort was made to manage any issues arising, and Jake’s professional approach to the installation of a replacement oven was outstanding. Service! Service! Service! I highly recommend this company & all the support staff for their excellent contribution to making the job at hand a seamless & worry free experience.

Jamie attended our home and provided excellent expert advice exllained in a way I could understand - all works completed perfectly, and he steered me away from some costly mistakes I was making in my planned project (suggesting that replacing a component in an old system would not be cost effective given the labour cost vs buying a similarly priced replacement system and saving on labour costs and ending up with a new system). Wonderful to have the work done well, speedily and with my best interests in mind, thank you Jamie & Cornell Electrical!
