Budget Electrical Central Queensland

Homeowners, renovators and even a stranded caravan traveller have all relied on Mick, the operator behind Budget Electrical Central Queensland, and the accounts that recur in Rockhampton describe a tradesman who arrives when he promises and remains involved until the result is correct. Customers writing about their orders describe him turning up promptly to quote and booking the work immediately, then completing it on schedule, a point that comes up often when people explain why they keep calling him back across many years.

The jobs vary widely: whole houses rewired with new outlets and switches, ceiling fans and light fittings installed, an electric water heater repaired after a same-day call, a faulty safety switch replaced, and make-safe work for another trade business that has engaged him repeatedly. A number of reviews mention the finish of the work, calling it neat, tidy and unobtrusive in occupied homes, and his charges reasonable for what is delivered. Communication is another theme, with advice offered throughout a long renovation and follow-up afterwards to confirm satisfaction. He is described as polite, professional and easy to have on site, including an after-hours call-out to sort a problem for a customer's daughter.

Mick and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. We have used their services for three renovations. They were always on time, courteous, contactable and provided timely and relevant advice to our projects. And to top it off, they’re just nice blokes. I would highly recommend Budget Electrical and will be using them on our future projects.

Recently used Budget electrical to upgrade my metre box and install some ac units ready for summer. Mick was great, came out for a quote and got back to me with a price. Booked in a date n time and he showed up. Very reasonable and affordable. Did a great job and asked him to swap out a couple fans last minute and was happy to do so. Deffinately going to be using budget electrical cq for all my future jobs. Highly recommend.

Mick the owner/operator of Budget Electrical has been fantastic. He came on the renovation journey with us from the start. His advice and professionalism throughout the process was fantastic.

We have contacted Mick for a quote and he promptly came over. Mick also provided the quote on time and booked us in right away. We had our entire house power points and light switches changed out as well out fans and new lights installations - all was done to high standards. 100% would recommend this business based on quality, price, and especially Mick being punctual / on schedule which I believe is a rarity these days around the area.

We’ve had Mick from Budget Electrical do several jobs for us now. His charges are always very reasonable and the work performed is first class, neat, tidy and unobtrusive. He has also helped my daughter by sorting out an electrical problem for her which of course had to happen on a Sunday! I have no problems or reservations with recommending him, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer more professional electrician in Rockhampton.
