MJ Electrical & Solar

Metre box upgrades, downlight installation, switchboard work and solar jobs form the backbone of what this Ballarat electrical team is called on to deliver, alongside emergency call-outs after wildlife damaged wiring and power points that had stopped working. Reliability and punctuality emerge as the strongest recurring theme, with tradespeople arriving at the agreed time and completing even a six-hour rewiring task ahead of schedule. Customers repeatedly describe quotes as clear, reasonable and competitively priced, backed by communication that runs from the first enquiry through to confirmation that the fault has been rectified.

Miles, Luke, Jay, Chris and Sarah are named across accounts for their friendly and courteous approach, their readiness to explain problems found in earlier wiring and their habit of consulting before making decisions. Tidiness features often too, with reports of footwear removed indoors, offcuts and used parts carted away and no mess remaining behind. The finish itself, whether new lighting, an upgraded switchboard or solar installation, is characterised as neat and carefully executed. What stands out is the consistency of the experience: responsive, honest service maintained from the initial contact right through to the completed job.

The service i received today was exceptional. From the point of enquiring on the phone to job completion, what i thought may be a 2 week wait time, too 3 hours. Wonderful customer service and quality of work. Thanks Miles and Sarah!

I contacted MJ Electrician Ballarat to enquire about a PV Point for our Fronius inverter. Miles called me directly, did some research on the PV Point and potential options, came back to me quickly with a great quote, and after accepting the quote I received a courtesy call to let me know when the installation would occur. A couple of days later a polite, professional and efficient installer arrived, completed a very neat job quickly, and stayed on site until configuration & testing were complete, and the inverter had reconnected to our wifi. The day after the installation I had another courtesy call to ensure everything was functioning as expected. Fast, easy, great quality, great service - highly recommended.

The go-to for all electrical and solar work in Ballarat and the surrounding area. The entire team - from booking to quoting, through to the actual trade work - was exemplary and priced very competitively for such neat work. I cannot recommend them highly enough and we will absolutely be using MJ Electrical for all our future work.

It took a couple of attempts to get my job (some power points had stopped working) booked in and first appointment was missed without notice. When the guys came the next day they worked well to solve my problem. Worked cleanly. Courteous and friendly.

We were very impressed with the service and excellent workmanship we received. Workmen arrived on time with minimal disruption to us. They were very polite and mindful of any inconvenience to our daily life. We were kept informed on progress and we are very happy with the end result. We would not hesitate to recommend MJ Electrician Ballarat. John and Vicki.

Tyson and Diesel did a great job, installing and removing ceiling fans, installing an exhaust fan, power point and two way light switch at my property. Even when faced with complications they were professional and saw the job through. They were friendly to deal with and kept me informed of what they were doing. Thanks for your hard work guys, it is greatly appreciated.

Friendly and informative, completed task in a timely manner & cleaned up when finished. We have used this company on a couple of occasions now and would highly recommend their services.
