Mark Rawstorn Electrical

Professionalism and dependability stand out as the traits customers return to again and again when describing this Canberra electrician. Reviewers consistently note that Mark Rawstorn turns up when he says he will, answers messages quickly and finishes jobs to a high standard. Several customers describe how he walks through the options in plain language and suggests sensible alternatives instead of steering people towards costlier work, with one account of a cheaper fix suggested for a light fitting.

The jobs covered in feedback range widely: switchboard and circuit box upgrades, downlights, power outlets, ceiling fans beneath a pergola, security lights, hard-wired smoke and fire alarms, removal of old wall heaters and an electric vehicle charger installation. Tidiness at the end of each visit is mentioned repeatedly, as are reasonable and competitive costs, and some clients have kept him on for more than six years. Clear communication before and after work is another point that comes up often, including swift replies to texts and follow-up guidance on a garage switch that did not require an electrician. A colleague named Alex is thanked alongside Mark, while careful workmanship in older homes features in accounts of improved functionality.

I tried getting a quote from Mark to fix my garage switch which wasn’t working and he was so nice in telling me it wasn’t actually hooked up to any power and to just change the battery. He even sent me a very helpful YouTube video! Thank you Mark and I’ll definitely get in touch if I have actual electrical work next time.

We have had Mark out for a few jobs over the years and he is always very efficient, reliable, on time and well priced.

Mark is a fantastic electrician! Replies quickly to texts, shows up on time, and does excellent work. Very professional and reliable—highly recommend!

We had Mark put two ceiling fans under our pergola & he did such a great job. Mark is very reliable & such a nice guy as well. Will definitely be using Mark in the future & a thanks to Alex as well. Thankyou again Mark. Kerry & Glenn.

Have used Mark for some years now. He is my go to sparky. Prompt, very capable and always on his best manners. Also cleans up after himself. Mark renews one’s faith in using trades to do work around the case, in this instance electrical work……

Mark is an absolute professional! Recently, got him to install an EV charger. He was fast, responsive, and cleaned up after himself. Would recommend and will use again!

I am a bit of an older lady these days so I have no clue when something breaks and needs fixing. Mark is always such a pleasure when I call and he will explain and help me understand what work needs doing. He is handsome too. Only last week he noticed my smoke alarms were expired and he replaced them, so now I feel a lot safer in my home. Thankyou Mark.
