Watkins Electrical

Watkins Electrical is well regarded across Hervey Bay and the wider Fraser Coast, where homeowners and contractors describe a dependable, well-run operation. Many accounts trace the experience from the initial call through quoting to completion and call it efficient, with agreed times kept and tradespeople showing up as arranged. Jake and Cody are named for being approachable, thorough and communicative throughout, and the office staff are credited with capturing details and scheduling visits without fuss. The jobs discussed span smoke alarm replacement, ceiling fan installation, switchboard upgrades that added circuits and surge protection, solar arrays with inverters and batteries, vehicle charging points, appliance and hot water repairs, air conditioning, fire alarms and lighting.

Customers often highlight the care taken with cleanliness, noting surfaces wiped and mess cleared before the team departs. Precision and a readiness to diagnose faults and pass on advice about solar and battery setups feature regularly, as does confirming parts and costs before going ahead. When flood-related demand was at its heaviest, the business still found room to take on additional work and was described as professional throughout. The depth of knowledge applied to solar and battery installations recurs as a consistent strength.

As contractors Watkins Electrical installed our solar system, inverter, battery, car charger on behalf of Horan and Bird (Townsville). Watkins also did a major upgrade to our switchboard, including extra circuits and surge protection. Their work was exceptional as was their attention to detail and friendly approach. The knowledge of Solar and battery systems is exceptional as was their willingness to share knowledge and make recomendations We are more than happy with Watkins Electrical and highly recomend them.
