T&K Electrical - Brisbane

Domestic renovations and additions form a large part of the work described in feedback for this electrical contractor, alongside smaller jobs such as replacing power points, downlights and ovens. Tom, the owner, is the name that surfaces most often, and customers repeatedly mention that he turns up when promised and fits appointments in quickly, including for emergencies such as failed hot water systems. Tidy, careful workmanship is a recurring theme: lights positioned logically, outlets placed discreetly yet practically, and sites left clean once the job is finished.

Switchboard replacements are frequently referenced, as are solar power issues resolved through swift online troubleshooting and clear instructions. Several reviewers describe quotes as fair and transparently explained, with one noting that a separate quotation was matched. Crew members including Matt and Luke are singled out for courtesy and skill. Diagnosing faults on the spot, even where other trades had struggled to identify the cause, along with checking smoke alarms during visits, are further points that come up. Feedback covers both minor repairs at inner-city units and substantial renovation work, with the standard of the finished result consistently praised.

Tom was at my city apartment on time (early!) replaced three GPOs and a downlight cleanly and quickly, tested everything, checked my smoke alarm system and still managed to hold a decent conversation. A damn nice bloke who seems intent on underpromising and overdelivering. Can't argue with that. No hesitation in recommending, give him a call.

I can't thank the team at T & K Electrical enough! We were getting our roof fixed and, due to a communication error, found out we needed our solar panels and mounting 'feet' removed just one day before the roofers were scheduled to arrive. T & K helped us out on incredibly short notice and did an absolutely awesome job. Given the emergency, they could have easily held us to ransom on the cost, but their pricing was completely fair and reasonable. Great team, highly recommend.

Been meaning to get around to finding an electrician for my solar power system issue. These guys popped up on my Facebook ads at 9pm on a Wednesday so I thought "what the heck, lets just pop a quick message about the issue and see if I can get an appointment.". I got a response within 5 minutes and for the next 30 minutes, I was getting trouble shooting steps through messenger to fix the issue myself and the solar power system was working fine the next morning. I asked to be billed for the time spent and the advice given and they said "dont worry about it, it was a simple fix anyway". This positive experience tells me these company is genuinely helpful and get satisfaction from resolving issues and helping their customers. I have a lot of confidence in these guys and Im looking forward to more of their work around my house.

T&K electrical have done several jobs at my house ranging from replacing a few lights to a full kitchen renovation and house extension. I have dealt with Tom the owner and each of his amazing crew. Everyone has been fantastic. They have been reliable (they show up when they say they will), they have delivered a considered and lovely end product (lights have been positioned logically, PowerPoints are in discrete but practical locations and my high end appliances carefully connected) and they stick with the job until it is 100% done. The crew ensured I was happy and once I discovered a fault in one of my appliances, they returned to see that the problem was remedied. I find the team honorable, hard working and trustworthy to handle big projects to completion.

Excellent service from excellent electricians! Called Tom at 9:15 am on Saturday 27/12/25. Luke arrived at 10:15am and found the fault immediately! Prompt, courteous, clean, skilled and immensely helpful. A great local business that we highly recommend and will certainly call again!

The boys were personable, on time and responsive. However, unfortunately a bit of carelessness on the job resulted in them cracking a couple of our roof tiles when putting the solar back down and our ceiling suffered water damage from the leaks as a result of this. A little disappointed that good customer relationship management was let down by this. I'd still recommend them, as they have a good record. Just maybe do a once over inspection of the works.

A brilliant bunch of very fairly priced professionals! Great service, great communication and happy to help, offer advice and go above and beyond. They worked hard for their money is an understatement and stuck to their original quote. They relocated a split system and installed a new unit in a double-storey. They could easily have installed the motor close to the ground, but went to a tremendous effort to install it high so I could walk under and still use the entire side of my house! Also installed two powerpoints on the day just because I asked, nothing was too much effort! Highly recommend Tom and the team, a really fantastic experience.
