SS Electrical and Solar

Homeowners embarking on new builds and renovations in Bendigo have plenty to say about the electrical installation and solar work carried out by this team. Shane, often assisted by Clay, is the name that appears throughout the feedback, credited with fitting power points, hanging lights, installing downlights, wiring security cameras, mounting televisions and lighting pool steps. Customers writing about their orders describe the same dependable pattern: he turns up when expected, explains things clearly, and sets out the costs before starting.

A point that comes up often is the tidiness, with drop sheets laid over carpets and every space left clean once the tools are packed away. Reviewers repeatedly mention his practical experience and his knack for suggesting improvements, whether relocating a fitting or refining the placement of lights for a better effect. Long-standing clients note that residential and commercial properties have been maintained by him over many years, with jobs both large and small receiving the same attention. Meticulous workmanship and an approachable manner round out the commentary.

Shane and Clay recently completed some electrical work on my unit, including installing downlights, security cameras, wall mounted TV Screens and updating power points. They were both extremely professional, reliable, and diligent throughout the entire job. Their workmanship was of a very high standard, and everything was completed with great attention to detail. Thanks, boys—I really appreciate the excellent work. I highly recommend Shane and Clay to anyone looking for quality electrical services.

Shane did a great job hanging new lights for me, including relocating one to another room that required a little bit of troubleshooting. He laid out drop sheets to protect the carpet and cleaned up after finishing. I was very happy with the price as well. Very friendly and approachable, definitely recommend and will use again.

Shane installed an EV charger, and did some other electrical works alongside. His work was of the highest standard, and at a very reasonable price. We were very impressed with his professionalism and communication throughout the job. We will not hesitate to recommend him and his team for the job.

I can't recommend SS Electrical and Solar highly enough. Shane and his team are skilled, fastidious in their approach to their work, and a pleasure to be around. It is no exaggeration to say this company are the best electricians I have ever engaged in a life that has spanned six decades and many homes in three different states.

We recently had an issue with our solar system and couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Shane quickly identified and solved the problem, explaining everything clearly along the way. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and he provided a practical, cost-effective solution rather than pushing unnecessary upgrades. Reliable, professional, and easy to deal with — we highly recommend him to anyone needing an honest and knowledgeable electrician.

Could not be happier. Shane came to my newly erected shed to quote on the supply of electricity and fitting of power points and lighting. Shane is experienced, knowledgable and practical. Didn’t bother with a second quote - just felt the job was going to be in good hands. Not disappointed! Excellent and meticulous workmanship. Excellent communication. Thanks Shane and Clay.👍👌👏

Shane and Clay have been looking after our residential properties and our commercial business for over 20 years, they have always arrived on time, communicate well and always do a great job even cleaning up after the work is completed. I'd never use another Electrician and would like to thank them for all the great work they have done for us.
