Place Electrical - LOCAL ELECTRICIAN IN GEELONG

Solar panel installation, security system work and general electrical repairs recur across the feedback for this Geelong business, and the standard of the finished result draws consistent praise. A handful of customers describe the workmanship on ceiling fans, outdoor lighting and television mounting as precise and neatly completed, with one noting that new lights transformed a room.

Reliability and punctuality come up often: reviewers mention that a quote followed quickly after an enquiry form was submitted, that a date was set within the hour, and that tradespeople arrived when promised. Clinton is named repeatedly for his calm, knowledgeable manner during an after-hours fault involving sparking wiring on a solar-equipped property, and Liam is credited for efficient installation work and a switchboard upgrade that restored a wall oven to full function.

Communication is described as clear before and after each job, with instructions followed carefully and creative solutions found when unexpected issues arose. Customers note competitive rates and efficient completion on both commercial and residential projects, and the same team has been engaged across multiple properties, suggesting a level of trust built over repeated visits. Tidiness and a friendly, professional approach round out the accounts, with after-hours assistance handled without fuss.

Excellent communication and great service for an after-hours emergency call-out. Transparent pricing, work of high standard. Thanks Clinton

Place Electrical completed substantial works in our newly purchased home and we couldn't be happier with the result. Their expertise, advice, craftsmanship and genuine care were evident throughout the entire project. The team was professional, reliable and took great pride in delivering a high quality finish. They provided practical solutions, communicated clearly and ensured every detail was completed to a high standard. The outcome exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to use them again. We couldn't recommend Place Electrical highly enough.

Highly recommend Place Electrical. Clinton and team were prompt and professional. I’m very pleased with their work.

I highly recommend Place Electrical. They installed solar panels to improve safety around my home and have great knowledge and expertise with security systems. I’ve used them previously as well—Clinton and his apprentice mounted my LG TV perfectly on the wall when we moved to Geelong. They listened carefully, followed instructions, and delivered excellent results. I also had a unique situation with my dog, who isn’t used to ceiling fans since moving to Australia. For safety, Place Electrical removed the fan blades and safely switched it off (as it’s a rental, removing the entire fan wasn’t an option). I’ll definitely be using Place Electrical again for future jobs, including reinstalling the fan blades and in my next home.

Cannot recommend Place Electrical highly enough. After two previous electricians didn't get back to us Clinton sent me an enquiry form, and within the hour i had a quote and date for works to be carried out. Liam and his apprentice arrived on time, work was carried out efficiently and we couldn't be happier with our new ceiling fans. Oh and it's great to be finally using my oven's pyrolitic clean function after Liam also upgraded the power to it. 10 stars!

Massive thank you, Clinton and team, for your after hours help! We were away from our property when neighbours let us know about some sparking (on a near 40 degree day AND a long weekend AND requiring expertise with solar panels, no less). Clinton was calm, knowledgeable, reassuring, and sent someone out almost immediately. A total pleasure to deal with and easy to talk to. Highly recommended!
