H. Irwin Electrical Adelaide Electrician

Work involving electric vehicle charging points, lighting, general electrical installation and security systems is the focus at this Adelaide operator, and customers who have engaged the team for such jobs tend to highlight the same handful of strengths. Several reviewers describe the crew as prompt and organised, arriving when agreed and completing installations of downlights, power outlets, ovens, cooktops and ceiling fans with obvious care.

Tidiness is a point that comes up often, with clients noting that offcuts and dust were cleared as the work progressed rather than left behind. Named team members Hamish, Tristan and Michael are repeatedly singled out for their friendly and courteous manner, and the advice offered along the way – including suggestions about feature lighting in a hallway – is valued rather than resented.

Pricing is described as reasonable relative to other quotes obtained, and communication before and after the job is praised, particularly in after-hours situations where guidance over the phone helped restore power before a visit the following day. Long-standing commercial clients such as a childcare service report consistent quality across repeat engagements, as do homeowners with older properties requiring careful handling. The result is consistent: efficient, respectful service that leaves premises in good order.

Really happy with the service! Great explanation over the phone, shared helpful ideas, and came quickly to fix the problem. Very experienced, honest, and affordable service — highly recommended!

Excellent service from H.Irwin Electrical. The electrician arrive on time and did a fantastic job. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything that had been done, which was great for us as the customers. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to our friends.

Qualified people on site at exact time. They did seek to reschedule but I was unable to meet the rescheduled time, so still came at the original appointed time. Work was of good quality and everything cleaned up well. Nice staff to talk to as well.

I’ve used Hamish multiple times over a long period of time. Always fit you in and bends over backwards to work in with other trades and of course does a great job. Would highly recommend

We used Hamish for an outdoor pergola and deck area. He installed a series of lights, a heater and pp. He did a great job , always willing to offer ideas and work in with the builders. I will definitely recommend and use again. Conrad from Belair

The team at H. Irwin Electrical were absolutely brilliant to work with! Tristan and Hamish were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. They installed downlights throughout the entire house, as well as PowerPoints, our rangehood, oven, and cooktop — all with exceptional attention to detail and care. They also set up our outdoor heating strips and downlights in the pergola area, which have completely transformed the space. It’s now so much more functional and inviting! As part of their thorough service, they also installed a new smoke alarm to ensure our home was safe and fully compliant with current regulations — giving us extra peace of mind. On top of that, they helped us install our security cameras and made sure everything was connected to Wi-Fi before they left — going above and beyond to make sure everything was working perfectly. The whole job was completed in a great timeframe, and they kept everything clean and tidy along the way. We’re incredibly happy with the quality of their work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend H. Irwin Electrical to anyone looking for trustworthy, high-quality electricians. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
